PBS Holiday Blogging Challenge - Day 1 - Bonus Activity

For day 1's bonus activity I went on to the Rainbow's End website to checkout the other fun rides they had. I noticed the very cool looking Scorpion Karts. Using the information I got from the website I put together an explanation and a 25 word summary about the Scorpion Karts. I recommended this ride to my friend Lyric because he likes racing.

PBS Holiday Blogging Challenge - Day 1 - Activity 2

For day 1 activity 2 I researched about a ride at Rainbow's End called the Stratosphere. I did some research to found out what is the minimum height to ride the stratosphere. I also answered why I think there is a height restriction. While watching some videos of people on the Stratosphere I noticed there are two different options. You could choose to ride very extreme or less extreme. I thought both rides looked very fun.

At Panmure Bridge School the student leaders have created a holiday blogging challenge that helps you to progress you learning throughout the holidays. For this holiday blogging challenge it gives you a virtual tour of New Zealand. For day 1 activity 1 it is about a fun theme park called Rainbow's End. I used my smart searching skills to find out where Rainbow's End can be located in Auckland, how much does it cost for a family pass and how much it would cost for my family to go.
