In this activity I had to give three interesting facts about Milo of Croton. Milo of Croton is one of the most famous Olympionics.

  1. Hi Tiava!

Welcome to the Winter Learning Journey. I am so glad that you have joined us this holiday and I'm really sorry for the lateness in my commenting. I didn't see your name on the registration form so I didn't know to check your blog until now. Fortunately, I have found you and I am really looking forward to reading each of your posts! I can tell that they will be really interesting if the Milo of Croton post is any indication. You have found some great facts!

I had actually never come across the first fact before and find it very interesting that Milo was defeated in his seventh attempt at an Olympic title by an athlete using a new technique. I wonder if the 'akrocheirismos' technique is used by modern day wrestlers. Do you happen to know if it is?

Keep up the great work with your blogging!!

    Cheers, Rachel :)
