Police Visit
Today we got a visit from the police. They flew a rotor craft to Panmure Bridge School to show and explain to us the different parts of the helicopter. They also brought a German Shepard to the school to show us some of their training and discipline. From that session I learned that a helicopter has thermal vision to detect people. They use it to see find where people are and how much people there are. A German Shepard is very useful for finding lost people or following a trail to search for something. Their speed is used for catching criminals. In my opinion I think that German Shepard's are very interesting because of what they can do.
