Week 2 - Day 4 - Activity 1
In this activity I researched about to different events that occurred during World War 2. The first event I researched about was the allies declaring war on Nazi Germany. This happened because two days before the war was declared Germany had bombed polish cities and towns. After the Germans failed to retreat from Poland on the deadline the British prime minister Neville Chamberlain announced that the country is at war with Germany. The second event I researched about was the Hitler assassination attempt. At Munich's famed Hofbrauhaus beer hall in 1921 Hitler was giving a speech. When he finished a bomb that was placed on a pillar behind the speaker's platform had went off. Hitler was unharmed but lots of people were killed and injured.

Mālō e lelei Tiava,
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you summarized both events, I can see that you did research about it and made a good job on briefly describing it.
For the future, I want you to consider to organize you text a little different, perhaps you could separate the events by adding a tittle and distributing it in distinct paragraphs. See below:
1st. Allies declaring war on Nazi Germany: the allies declared war on Nazi Germany because two days before...
2nd. Hitler assassination attempt: At Munich's famed Hofbrauhaus beer hall...
This is a simple adjustment that can make your written more clear and easier to read.
Keep up the good work!

Hello Tiava
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this summer learning journey activity. Your information about these two event is great. I feel sorry for those innocent people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Keep up the awesome work Tiava!
