In this activity I looked at a list of people who had earned a Victoria Cross. I choose one person to read about. His name is Sergeant Keith Elliott. Keith Elliott was a New Zealand soldier who served with the New Zealand Military Forces during World War 2. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for leading his unit in a successful break out while wounded in the chest.

ReplyDeleteI think that Sergeant Keith Elliot was such a brave men! He did show great leadership and courage in his actions at the First Battle of Alamein. Thanks for choosing such an interesting person to write about.
However, in order for you to gain full points for this activity I will need you to elaborate a little bit more about why he won the VC. One sentence doesn't quite cover the circumstances that did lead him to win a VC. Could you do that and let me know?
Dig in and keep blogging!
Kia kaha,
