Week 2 - Day 3 - Activity 1

In this activity I talk about what I do to de-stress or relax. When I get stressed I usually I read a book, go for a walk or listen to music. I find reading a book stress relieving because It gets my mind off things. In my opinion going for a walk also helps because it allows you to blow off steam. When I am trying to relax I listen to music because I find it soothing.

    My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for the SLJ in Toki Pounamu on the South Island of the West Coast. So I live in Greymouth.

    You have got some really great ways to relax if you are feeling stressed. I also love to read a book when feeling a little stressed. What is your favourite book?

    I love to hear that you do this as I am a librarian at a school in Greymouth. And I love reading to.
    I really like to sit outside in the sun with a book and a coffee, somewhere quiet! I can't think of anything better!
    Listening to music is also another great way to relax. Do you have some favourite songs or bands that you like to listen to?

    I have just finished reading Wonder. Have you read this book?
    It has also just been made into a movie so I am hoping to see the movie at some stage. I like to compare the book to the movie.
    Watching a movie is also another great way to relax because you can just watch and relax.

    Well done on completing this summer learning journey activity. I also like to read a book when I'm feeling stressful. Where do you go to read a book/listen to music? I like to lie on my bed. Keep up the amazing work.
